SPECIAL GUEST: Alfonso León [Ushuaia Ibiza / Vagabundos / Memento Rec>
BIO:
Alfonso León is an up and coming artist from Santiago, Chile. At a young age he was exposed to the electronic scene in Chile, led by names such as Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Dandy Jack, Argenis Brito, and Pier Bucci, amongst others. In discovering this new sound he was quickly inspired into creating his own productions. One thing leading to another, he got his hands on a pair of turntables, and steadily honed his craft playing throughout the club scene in Santiago.
His entry into the international scene came from the hand of Luciano, who invited him to reside at his “Luciano and Friends” party held at Ushuaia Beach Hotel in Ibiza during 2012 and 2013, as well as at Cadenza`s Vagabundos held at Pacha and Booom!. He has since played in a wide array of international events alongside artists such as Luciano, Carl Craig, Dj Sneak, Âme and many more.
Currently based in Barcelona, and having recently signed to db Artists Booking Agency, he has teamed up with like-minded artists Philippe Liard and Cadenza`s Marlowe to create Minoria, a three man collective.
His first Ep was released in vinyl by Italian Imprint Memento, with a remix by Fabrizio Maurizi. With many more in the making, this will be the year of showcasing his unique sound to the world.
